All paddle board and kayak rentals include paddles, leash, PFD (Personal Flotation Device), and water safety tips and information.
* Please Note: Hourly, 2-Hour, and Half-Day Rentals are only available at our Kings Beach (Secline Beach) lakefront rental location!
Cancellation Policy
We have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy for all rentals. You may cancel a reservation with at least 24 hours' notice without penalty. Any cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged the full amount of the rental, unless rental protection was purchased at the time of booking your reservation.
Rental Protection
Add peace of mind to your rental with our rental protection. Purchasing rental protection, available at the time of booking, allows you to cancel or reschedule your rental for any reason up to one hour prior to your scheduled rental start time. You will be reimbursed for the full amount of your rental, minus the cost of rental protection and processing fees. No refunds will be given for no shows and/or cancellations made less than one hour prior to the start of your scheduled rental start time.
Wind/Weather Cancellations
A full refund will be issued for any cancellations due to wind and/or weather. Weather cancellations are at the sole discretion of North Tahoe Paddle.

DO YOU OFFER HOURLY RENTALS?
Yes, we do! We offer stand up paddle board and kayak rentals ranging from one-hour to a full day at our Kings Beach rental location. Please keep in mind that we do require a one-hour minimum for stand up paddle board and kayak rentals.
DO YOU OFFER DEALS AND DISCOUNTS FOR FREQUENT RENTERS?
We sure do! Customers who want to paddle on the regular can purchase one of our Frequent Renters’ cards by giving us a call at (530)448-7054. Frequent Renters’ cards can be purchased for any number of full-day rentals and follow the discount structure of our multi-day rentals.
DO YOU HAVE A DISCOUNT FOR MILITARY, FIRE, AND POLICE PERSONNEL?
We do! We offer 5% off kayaks and paddle board rentals for military personnel seven days a week. North Lake Tahoe and Truckee Police and Fire Department are also eligible for the 5% discount.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS?
Yes, every Wednesday is College Day. Bring your college ID and receive 5% off any half-day or full-day kayak or paddle board rental. Additionally, we offer discounts for college students who are booking large group reservations. If interested, inquire at info@northtahoepaddle.com.
DO YOU SELL GIFT CARDS?
Yes, please visit our Online Reservations page or give us a call to purchase gift cards. We also sell Frequent Renters’ cards!
DO YOU OFFER GROUP DISCOUNTS?
Yes, based on the group size and need, we can provide special group discounts. To learn about our offerings, please give us a call to discuss your options and pricing. Typically, group discounts start at 10 pieces of equipment (kayaks and/or stand up paddle boards.
